The mine was built in 1957, the mine, after many reform, now beneficiation plant actual production capacity of 100 tons / day. It mainly recovers zinc, comprehensively recovers lead, sulfur, and sometimes recovers copper .
Before 1966, the mine was open-pit mining and is now being converted to a flat open mining in the lower open air. The mining site is 3.7 kilometers away from the ore dressing plant, and the original mining vehicle is transported to the original ore bin of the concentrator. In addition, the concentrator also handles some purchased ore, which contains less than 0.3% copper in addition to zinc and lead. The plant also carried out comprehensive recovery.
The power source is taken from the East China Power Network Zhapu Substation, which supplies power to the mining area at 10 kV (two-phase and one-site system) with a length of 7.5 km.
The industrial water is taken from Cuixi and sent to the 150m3 high-level pool of the concentrator by the first-stage pumping station.
The tailings are discharged into the river ditch and a tailings pond is currently being built.
(II) Process 1. Raw ore properties The ore is a skarn type deposit. The main metal minerals sphalerite, followed pyrite, chalcopyrite and galena.
The gangue minerals are mainly attapulgite, garnet and diopside , followed by chlorite, calcite , graphite and quartz .
The sphalerite crystals are aggregated and their size is above 0.3 mm, which is concentrated in the ore. The galena and pyrite particles are generally below 0.5 mm and are scattered and are included in the sphalerite.
2. Process Flow The crushing process is closed in two sections, the original ore size is 250~0 mm, and the final product size is -19.5 mm. The upper part of the original mine silo is equipped with a 400×600 jaw crusher , which intermittently breaks the large ore larger than 250 mm on the sieve.
After the ore is ground for a period of time, it is ground to -200 mesh for 60~65%, and then copper-lead-sulfur mixed flotation is carried out.
